Job description

Job Overview:
Transport Driver reporting to our facility in Houston, TX
Position Details:
  • Transport Drivers are responsible for ensuring our products are delivered to our regional distribution centers and/or drop sites in a safe and timely manner
  • Typically no-touch freight
  • Consistent runs, home daily
  • Performs required pre and post trip vehicle inspections and maintains all required DOT documentation (including trip electronic logs)
  • Averages 2,000 - 2,300 miles per week
  • Averages 3-4 drop and hooks per shift. Or, as requested
  • Typically transports products to and from our facilities in Texas such as Austin, Irving, San Antonio, and Corpus Cristi.

Shift and Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 12:00pm - 12:00am
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • HOME DAILY

Total Rewards:
  • Pay starting at $30.50 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $32.08 per hour in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License A (CDL A)
  • 21 years of age or older
  • 1 year experience using CDLA

Ideal Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Tankers Endorsements.
  • 18+ months (18m+ is the ideal. Will still need to edit based on market and potentially lower in hard to fill areas) of commercial driving experience.
  • Lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs as needed.
