Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • System Installation: Mount control panels, smoke detectors, pull stations, and notification devices according to blue prints.
  • Wiring & Conduit: Pull low-voltage wire, bend conduit, and hook up electrical connections.
  • Testing & Commissioning: Test circuits, verify device operation, and program panels to confirm complete functionality.
  • Code Compliance: Follow NFPA 72 and local building rules to guarantee life safety standards.
  • Client Handover: Show customers how the system works and explain basic troubleshooting.


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of hands-on low-voltage wiring or fire alarm setup experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and floor plans.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 72 and National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.


Preferred Skills
