Job Description

Join a dynamic sign fabrication team specializing in creating both illuminated and non-illuminated signs for a wide range of clients, including sports franchises, hospitals, hotels, and large buildings. This role requires an energetic and skilled fabricator with a focus on aluminum welding, although welding is not the primary duty.

Responsibilities

• Perform aluminum welding using MIG and TIG techniques.
• Use press brake and hand form aluminum plates.
• Interpret pictures of signs to accurately copy layouts.
• Fabricate custom pieces based on blueprints.

Essential Skills

• Experience in aluminum welding is mandatory.
• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in the fabrication of agricultural equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Good people skills and a great attitude.
• Experience as an autobody fabricator.
• Familiarity with using a press brake.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 5am to 3:30pm, with the possibility of 5-10 hours of overtime on Fridays if needed. The role is based in a collaborative workshop setting, encouraging hands-on work and creativity.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yakima, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
