Description
Position Overview:
Our Cabana Server team consistently finds new ways to go above and beyond their duties every day. As a Cabana Server you are focused on providing exceptional Guest service to our most premium level of guests. Exceptional Guest service entails being fast and efficient while still maintaining safety, being Texas-friendly, being accurate, and having great personal integrity and responsibility. Our Cabana Servers will be Guest service driven, providing the highest level of personalized Texas-friendly table service which will include taking food and drink orders, keeping cabanas in a clean and orderly condition, be knowledgeable of the specialty drink, beer and food menus and general park information.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Greet all Guests with enthusiasm and a smile
  • Greet and escort guests to their designated cabana
  • Power wash and reset assigned cabana section
  • Maintain proper daily and weekly deep clean of assigned cabana section
  • Provide excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction
  • Take Guest orders and delivers food and beverages
  • Operate the register and Point of Sale System.
  • Deliver checks and able to take forms of payment quickly and accurately
  • Knowledgeable on all menu items, specialty cocktails, beer, and all liquor we carry
  • Able to assemble menu items and serve to guests
  • Complete daily restock tasks assigned by leadership
  • ID all Guest that look under the age of 35

Requirements
Department Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be open and willing to learn new things
  • Must be flexible, adaptable, and a team player
  • Must follow all health department, TABC, City and County alcohol requirements and maintain a clean working environment
  • Understands and supports the Typhoon Texas Culture
  • Uses excellent judgement
  • Identifies problems and works quickly to find solutions
  • Works effectively with others, on all levels, in a positive and professional manner
  • Has excellent communication skills which includes the ability to use clear, concise, and grammatically correct written and oral language in interactions with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management This position may require you to work in other positions, locations, and/or departments on an ad-hoc basis
  • Must be willing to complete all tasks given by Typhoon Texas leadership
  • If you do not have a Typhoon Texas approved and current Food Handler's Permit and/or TABC Certification, you will be required to obtain one at your expense

General Qualifications:
  • May be required to stand for long periods of time
  • May be required to lift at least 20-50 lbs.
  • May be required to be exposed to direct sunlight, hot temperatures, or rain
  • Must be able to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work well with others
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Must follow all Typhoon Texas guidelines or policies
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler's Permit/TABC
