Job Summary

About the Role:
This is a senior technical leadership position supporting the reliability, performance, security, and observability of enterprise platforms and modern web applications. You''ll partner closely with engineering teams across Dallas, Europe, and Asia Pacific to drive operational standards, platform reliability, and technology modernization. The role has a clear growth path into a future Technical Manager position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership across Platform Engineering and SRE functions, setting standards and driving reliability initiatives (SLOs, SLIs, Error Budgets, Incident Management)
• Own the enterprise monitoring/observability platform (APM, infrastructure monitoring, RUM, logging, tracing)
• Lead governance of the global domain portfolio, DNS, and certificate lifecycle management
• Provide technical leadership for AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, CDN, WAF, and edge security services
• Design and maintain Terraform modules for Infrastructure-as-Code
• Administer AWS WAF and manage web application security controls
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex production issues across client- and server-side technologies
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with global, follow-the-sun engineering teams
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead through major incidents

Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years supporting enterprise applications, cloud platforms, infrastructure, or web technologies
• 3+ years as a Technical Lead, Senior Engineer, or Architect
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS, DNS, CDN, AWS WAF, SSL/TLS, observability platforms, and CI/CD
• Experience troubleshooting large-scale, customer-facing web applications

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience managing global domain portfolios
• Experience with enterprise observability platforms and global support models
• Experience building reusable Terraform modules/IaC frameworks
• Familiarity with AI-assisted dev tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Amazon Q, etc.)
• AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, SRE, networking, or security certifications
