We are looking for an experienced Senior Commissions Analyst to support commission operations for a Long-term Contract position based in Utah. This role is ideal for someone who can bring structure, accuracy, and sound judgment to incentive compensation activities while working closely with cross-functional teams. You will play a key role in ensuring commission results are reliable, questions are addressed promptly, and ongoing processes remain steady in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the full commission cycle from data review through final payout delivery, ensuring deadlines and accuracy standards are consistently met.
• Examine commission results across platforms such as Excel, Salesforce, and Xactly when applicable, and investigate variances through detailed reconciliation.
• Interpret compensation plan rules and apply them correctly when handling adjustments, recalculations, and exception scenarios.
• Serve as a primary contact for sales teams and internal stakeholders by resolving questions related to earnings, calculations, and payout differences.
• Detect data quality concerns that could affect commission outcomes and take corrective action to prevent payment issues.
• Provide direction and day-to-day support to an entry-level or offshore commissions analyst, particularly for renewals-related activities.
• Collaborate with FP& A and Sales Operations to align reporting inputs, compensation data, and responses to commission-related inquiries.
• Help maintain continuity and consistency in commission operations during a period requiring added process stability and team support.• Demonstrated experience in business analysis within commission, compensation, finance, or sales operations environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and familiarity with commission or CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Xactly.
• Ability to review detailed records, validate calculations, and reconcile data with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience interpreting compensation plans and translating rules into correct payout outcomes.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to address questions from cross-functional teams in a thorough and attentive manner.
• Comfortable identifying process gaps, researching inconsistencies, and driving issue resolution.
• Ability to work effectively in a structured yet evolving environment, including collaboration with distributed team members.
• Familiarity with gap analysis, document review, and agile ways of working is beneficial.
