First and second shifts open - all weekdays!

Please note that this is a temporary position anticipated to run through approximately October of 2026. Extension of the role's timeline is contingent on business needs and contract extension.  

At Beacon Hill Hospitality, we look for people who want to help others not because it's their job, but because it's their nature. At this healthcare facility, the Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe, efficient kind and empathetic service to all passengers -- greeting with a warm welcome, driving them to their destination safely and sending them on their way with a fond farewell.

As a Shuttle Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe, efficient and on-time transportation of hospital employees from an off-site parking lot to the hospital. In this high-profile role, it is important that you maintains a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times.

Essential Duties

  • Operates a passenger shuttle safely and efficiently.
  • Treats all passengers, customers, and other persons in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
  • Follows specific regularly scheduled routes.
  • Assists passengers in boarding and exiting vehicle.
  • Transmits and receives communications over two-way radio system.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Keeps interior of vehicle neat and orderly.
  • Also may be required to perform other related duties as requested.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Exceptional customer service skills - maintains a warm, friendly and professional demeanor when working with other employees, patients and visitors.
  • Must be at least 23 years old for insurance purposes.
  • Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively both verbally and on paper
  • Must be able to safely and efficiently operate a passenger van.
  • Must be able to sit for up to eight (8) hours per shift.
  • Ability to complete log sheets and trip sheets.
