ISMIRA Agency Actively Recruiting For Position Dentist For Royal Caribbean Group!

The Dentist is responsible for providing high-quality dental care to guests and crew onboard. The role includes diagnosis, treatment, and management of dental conditions, as well as responding to urgent and emergency dental cases. The Dentist works as part of the ship's Medical Department and ensures all services are delivered in compliance with company policies and international maritime medical standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide general and emergency dental care, including examinations, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Perform dental procedures such as: fillings, extractions, temporary restorations, treatment of infections and pain management
  • Respond to urgent dental cases for both guests and crew
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in medical systems
  • Ensure all dental equipment is properly maintained, sterilized, and compliant with hygiene standards
  • Follow infection control protocols and international medical guidelines
  • Collaborate with shipboard medical team (Doctors and Nurses) for integrated patient care
  • Manage dental supplies, materials, and inventory
  • Educate patients on oral health and preventive care
  • Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and company policies
Requirements:
  • Minimum 21 years old
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or equivalent recognized dental degree
  • Valid dental license and current registration in home country
  • Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience as a practicing dentist
  • Experience in emergency dentistry is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of: general dentistry procedures infection control and sterilization standards
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and high-pressure environment
  • Physically fit to meet shipboard requirements and participate in emergency duties
  • Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with guests, department heads and crewmembers to foresee and resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
