Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health - Limited Part-time Program - Pittsburgh

Oakmont, PA – Limited Part-time; Hourly, Non-exempt; Limited schedule is 2 days per week; Role is temporary and may transition to either Full-time or Casual after 12-16 weeks.

Starting Rate: Pay is by Productivity Point, based on experience

Presbyterian SeniorCare Network Home Health is a Medicare-certified home health agency that provides in-home care and services when a physician prescribes for them. Managed by Redstone Presbyterian SeniorCare, our home health professionals make a difference in the lives of older adults by providing skilled nursing services; and physical, occupational, and speech therapy while our patients remain in a comfortable, at-home setting.

The Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) conducts initial nursing assessment through use of the OASIS assessment tool, including physical and psychosocial aspects of patient/family/caregiver in a thorough, accurate, compassionate and timely fashion and provides leadership and guidance to the home health team in formulating and individualizing plan of care. The Home Health RN also contributes to identifying active and potential needs of the patient and his/her family, consistently collaborates with the physician and reviews comprehensive plan of care with the home health team.

Requirements for the Home Health Registered Nurse (RN):

  • Possesses an RN license in good standing from the State of PA.
  • Holds and active driver’s license and reliable transportation that is insured in accordance with Pennsylvania requirements.
  • Maintains CPR as per policy.
  • Demonstrates ability to work well with people and show enthusiasm and motivation.
