Job description

The Office and Field RN provides comprehensive nursing care across both office and field settings, ensuring quality patient outcomes through clinical expertise and effective coordination. This role involves conducting patient assessments, administering medications, educating patients, and supervising junior nursing staff. The RN works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and reports to the Field Operations Manager and Administrator. Travel to patient locations within a 40-mile radius is required, supporting a diverse patient population in various environments. Suitable candidates may also be considered for the Director of Nursing (DON) position.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient care and conduct clinical assessments in office and field environments
  • Administer medications and provide health education to patients
  • Document accurate medical records and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
  • Coordinate care among multidisciplinary team members and supervise LPNs and HHAs
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and monitor patient conditions
  • Conduct field visits within a 40-mile radius of the office

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year nursing experience
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Proficient in patient care, clinical assessment, and medical documentation
  • Knowledge of infection control standards
  • Strong communication, time management, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with EMR software
