TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Flowood, Mississippi, 39232!

Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Flowood, Mississippi

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
  • Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor using continuous electronic fetal monitoring
  • Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, supporting physicians and midwives as needed
  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and oxytocin per facility protocols
  • Respond to obstetric emergencies including neonatal resuscitation as required
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the facility EMR
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Mississippi or compact state eligibility
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
  • Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • Fetal Monitoring certification required
  • Permanent address must be 50 or more miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience with high-acuity Labor & Delivery cases
  • Familiarity with hospital-based EMR systems
