ARMStaffing is hiring experienced and compassionate Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurses (RNs) for travel and local assignments at top hospitals across the country. If you’re passionate about bringing new life into the world and providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns, we’re ready to support your next adventure.

Job Description:
As an L&D RN, you’ll care for patients throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum process. You’ll support families during life-changing moments while managing high-risk situations with skill and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs throughout labor and delivery
  • Assist physicians and midwives during childbirth
  • Administer medications and IVs, including epidurals and Pitocin
  • Educate and support patients and families on birth plans and newborn care
  • Manage emergencies such as preeclampsia, hemorrhage, or fetal distress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP and fetal monitoring certification preferred
  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent L&D nursing experience
  • Strong knowledge of obstetric protocols and fetal monitoring interpretation
  • Calm, confident decision-making in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
