Description
• Prototype new assemblies and systems per specifications with no supervision. • Interpret technical drawings and perform detailed touch-ups. • Support disassembly, rework, and testing of prototypes. • Maintain accurate documentation and logs. • Performing tasks to support engineering development and testing. Lead assembly, troubleshooting, and process optimization: • Assemble prototyping assembly of complex systems, perform functional tests, and troubleshoot issues with minimal to no supervision. • Proficient in baking, curing, welding, laser engraving and packaging, ensuring adherence to quality standards. • Collaborate with supervisors to address assembly challenges and propose solutions. • Perform all non-machining functions of AMS from wire preparation, pin crimp, cable harness, welding, dip strip, VPI, final assembly, testing, final bake, laser engraving and any new process that is developed while ensuring adherence to high quality standards with minimal to no supervision and minimal guidance. • Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to address assembly challenges and propose solutions. • Identify and implement improvements in workflows, efficiency, and safety. • Collect accurate production data, track material usage, and support inventory/logistics. • To be able to perform setups on manufacturing equipment. • Work with minimal to no supervision while maintaining high-quality standards. • Lead by example to help facilitate cross training and improve skills to the team while also improving one’s skillset. • Active learner, hands on, and work effectively and efficiently and any new process that is developed while ensuring adherence to high quality standards with minimal to no supervision and minimal guidance. • Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to address assembly challenges and propose solutions. • Identify and implement improvements in workflows, efficiency, and safety. • Collect accurate production data, track material usage, and support inventory/logistics. • To be able to perform setups on manufacturing equipment. • Work with minimal to no supervision while maintaining high-quality standards. • Lead by example to help facilitate cross training and improve skills to the team while also improving one’s skillset. • Active learner, hands on, and work effectively and efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on assembly experience in a manufacturing setting. • Proficient in using hand tools and performing mechanical assembly tasks • Experience with record keeping and production/logging systems • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and schematics. • Strong attention to detail with ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality system environments. • 2 or more years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment. • Proficient in hand tools with intermediate to advanced assembly skills.
