We need your talent, motivation, and vision to join our New Hampshire based team. BAE Systems has recently been awarded new programs and is currently undergoing an exciting period of growth. We have multiple positions in Southern New Hampshire (our locations include Nashua, Hudson, Merrimack and Manchester). BAE Systems is searching for a Senior Test Engineer with experience in developing automated test software solutions. The ideal candidate must be a motivated self-starter, able to complete assignments with little oversight while being available as a subject matter expert and technical lead to their team. They must be able to assume a full or partial lead role as circumstances dictate, and be able to quickly and dynamically switch focus to accommodate the daily activities of an engineering team supporting a production environment. This individual should be comfortable providing accurate technical status to program management or direction to individual contributors as part of their job function, as well as interfacing with other engineering disciplines as necessary. Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
* 4+ years of professional test development and integration experience, concentrated on RF measurement methodolgy and automated testing. * Hardware and Software Integration experience.
* Proficiency in Object-oriented programming (C/C++/C# etc.) Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
* The ideal candidate would be familiar or experienced in:
* NI Test Software Tools
* TestStand
* LabWindows/CVI Software
* Instrument Communication
* Network analyzers
* Spectrum analyzers
* Microwave/RF measurements
* VSWR
* Gain
* Compression
* Phase noise
* S-Parameters
* etc.
* Experience with the entire product life cycle development or parts of it: Requirements review, test plan creation, coding, integration of test SW with test stands, and sell-off to customers.
* Experience with RF test development for production, employing RF Test instrumentation (Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generators, PNA-X etc.)
* Experience with RF Measurement techniques and ability to diagnose and resolve to root cause measurement anomalies. * Takes initiative and has a closure-oriented nature
* Experience with SW version control and bug tracking tools
* Experience in supporting factory production test stands, debug, problem isolation, and resolution.
* Experience with National Instruments FlexRIO (LabVIEW FPGA/VHDL/Verilog a plus)
* JTAG/Boundary project development in an ATE solution
* Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
* Git and Tortoise Git
* Strong leadership skills
* Experience in leading engineers on multiple projects/tasks
* Experience with HW debug & troubleshooting.
* Possess good communication skills including interpersonal communication and team communication Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
