What You Will Do

  • As a UI DevSecOps Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing user interfaces and software solutions that support critical missions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create responsive, secure, and interactive applications that meet user and operational requirements. Your work will directly contribute to delivering innovative and effective solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Develop user-facing software applications, web applications, or graphical user interfaces using modern front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.

  • Design and implement responsive and interactive user interfaces that enhance user experience.

  • Integrate user interfaces with RESTful APIs and backend services to deliver seamless functionality.

  • Develop software applications using Python, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to software development principles.

  • Utilize Git or similar source control systems and collaborative workflows to manage codebases effectively.

  • Work within Linux development environments to build, test, and deploy applications.

  • Troubleshoot and debug software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, to translate user and operational requirements into robust software solutions.

Qualifications You Must Have

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
