Responsibilities
  • Perform routine CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures for a free-standing emergency department.
  • Manage patient flow and exam volumes, expecting to handle 10-20 CT/radiology exams per shift.
  • Operate GE 64 Slice CT and digital/portable X-ray equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Utilize Meditech documentation system to maintain accurate and timely patient records.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, taking two call shifts per month to ensure 24/7 staff coverage.
  • Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic clinical environment.
Qualifications
  • ARRT Certification as a Radiologic Technologist with competency in CT imaging.
  • Active South Carolina Rad Tech license (SCQRSA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Proficiency in both CT and diagnostic radiology operations.
  • Previous experience in a high-paced ED setting preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
