Job description

Interventional Radiology Technologist

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Tech and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You'll be responsible for the operation and quality assurance of film processing, patient monitoring, and x-ray equipment.

Minimum Requirements
  • 2 years of IR Tech experience with references
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Graduate from AMA approved accredited Radiologic Technologist programs
  • BLS certification
  • State license
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic or cardiovascular technology
  • 1 year experience as an Interventional Vascular Specialist, Interventional Radiology Technologist, or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist
  • ARRT-R with VI or CV credential, or RCIS, required
  • Intermediate knowledge of x-ray equipment and troubleshooting
  • Experience assisting with pulmonary thrombectomy, AAA, TEVAR, and FEVAR
  • Ability to assist with complex procedures including multiple wire exchanges and use of long wires and OTW balloons
  • Experience using specialty devices including laser, penumbra, Inari, and shockwave
  • Ability to circulate, monitor, and scrub all Interventional Vascular procedures
  • Knowledge of radiation safety, vascular anatomy, lesion recognition, sterile technique, and access site management
  • BLS (AHA only)
Assignment Details
  • Shift Hours: 7a-530p
  • Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
  • On-call required, including weekends and holidays
