Position: Radiology Technician

Position Summary

This role is ideal for a Radiology Technician looking to grow their career in a supportive and professional healthcare environment. The Radiology Technician will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using independent judgment and technical skill. Responsibilities include maintaining image quality, patient safety, and contributing to the efficient workflow of the radiology department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Select and perform appropriate radiographic procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Position patients correctly for optimal imaging and diagnostic results.
  • Operate radiographic equipment with attention to radiation safety, including proper shielding, collimation, and image labeling.
  • Minimize repeat imaging through quality positioning and technique.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
  • Assist with clerical duties, patient transport, and departmental support tasks as needed.
  • Perform daily quality control checks on imaging equipment and assist with processor/film sensitometry.
