Job description

What We Offer
Responsible for the planning, coordination and evaluation of the technical and clinical staff. Interacts and directs the radiation therapists and radiation therapy assistants in order to effectively deliver a high quality radiation therapy treatment course for each patient presented. Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Takes ownership in creating an environment that allows team members to be present with patients and their families. Focuses on achieving daily operations and assist leadership team in meeting ongoing department objectives including quality, financial vitality, employee and customer satisfaction, continuously assesses work environment and processes to identify safety risks. Maintain high visibility, being present and available to team members to provide necessary mentoring, teaching and interaction on both a personal and professional level.
What We're Looking For
  • Education:B.S. in health related field, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Experience: Five years as staff Radiation Therapist, required. Three years supervisory experience, required.
  • Licensure/certification/registration: Graduate of accredited Radiation Therapy program, required. Board certified by ARRT in Radiation Oncology, required.
  • Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Computer skills to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Intranet/Internet.
