Job description

Role: QA Engineer
Location: Sacramento, CA
Experience Level: 5 years
Interview Process: 2 WebEx rounds
# of Positions: 2
Responsibilities:
  • Create test cases and suites to ensure product specification is being met.
  • Work closely with Firmware, Software and app developers as they implement features to ensure requirements are being fulfilled.
  • Execute manual (and automated tests where necessary) to ensure a high reliability and quality metrics.
  • Create and maintain automation test fixtures and set-ups needed to run automated testing.
  • Work closely with product and QA engineers to create and drive a roadmap for the QA and applications team.
  • Knowledge of mobile device emerging technologies including Smartphone LTE architectures, wireless IoT- BLE/Internet connected devices.

Key skills:
  • Experience with UI, android and ios app testing in addition to firmware and software testing.
  • Experience with KIBANA, JIRA, Confluence and Testrail
  • Experience with using postman and URLs
  • Ability to create test cases and test plan.
  • Ability to work well independently and in close collaboration with a remote team.
  • Experience in test automation (python, robot frameworks etc)
