Job Summary
  • Seeking AI/ML Data Scientist to support optimization, automation, collection processing, and mission data analysis
  • The successful candidate will combine strong Python data engineering and API integration skills with the ability to develop analytical tools, automate workflows, and work with complex technical data
  • Candidates with strong data science backgrounds may be considered even without direct AI/ML collection-processing experience, with training provided as needed

Primary Responsibilities
  • Apply AI/ML techniques to optimize analytical workflows, automation, and collection-processing activities
  • Develop and maintain Python-based tools for retrieving, processing, aggregating, and analyzing data
  • Build and integrate APIs to access mission and technical data sources
  • Develop data-frame and aggregation workflows using Python
  • Create data visualizations and geospatial analytical products
  • Analyze data flows and support integration across systems and tools
  • Develop reusable analytical and automation capabilities for mission users
  • Support exploration, transformation, and presentation of complex technical datasets
  • Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, engineers, and mission stakeholders

Required Qualifications
  • Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
  • Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Associate's degree with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position
  • Strong Python proficiency
  • Experience working with APIs, including reading, using, and building tools to retrieve data
  • Experience using Python data frames and performing data aggregation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop automated and repeatable data-processing workflows
  • Experience working with complex technical or mission datasets

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience applying AI/ML techniques to optimization, automation, or collection processing
  • Experience with Plotly, Shapely, or GeoPandas
  • XKS/DX proficiency and understanding of dataflow
  • Experience with Splunk, SQL, Elastic, Kibana, or computer networking
  • Front-end development experience using Bootstrap/HTML or Pyodide
  • Experience or background in SIGINT data collection

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The pay range for this role is:
135,000 - 180,000 USD per year (Ft. Meade MD)
