Job Summary:
Are you a seasoned leader with a proven track record in commercial construction trades, particularly in Mechanical (HVAC) CT Mechanical is seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the success and execution of our projects. In this role, you will plan, direct, coordinate, and budget activities related to the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. From implementation to completion, you will ensure the efficient organization, estimating, and scheduling of construction processes. Role and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the profitability of all assigned projects, aiming for a minimum of 10% net profit.
  • Forecast and manage labor hours and labor needs, providing a labor forecast and a 3-week look ahead.
  • Develop and manage vendors and subcontractor resources to optimize project outcomes.
  • Focus on client satisfaction by maintaining open communication and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate with department heads in Asset Management, HR, IT, Estimating, and Finance to streamline project operations.
  • Manage warehouse inventory, deliveries, receiving, and material needs to support project requirements.
  • Maintain purchasing procedures and manage fabrication needs efficiently.
  • Network effectively to enhance business development opportunities for the branch.
  • Manage warranty needs and ensure timely resolution of any issues.
  • Participate in leadership team meetings, providing insights and contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Provide operational solutions for all projects to ensure smooth project success.
  • Help prioritize tasks to manage project schedules effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Report project metrics weekly to the leadership team, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher or time in service
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Commercial HVAC/R Industry.
  • At least 3 years of management experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and information.
