What is the role about?

Do you enjoy working hands-on with advanced CNC machinery while holding tight tolerances? Do you thrive in a fast paced production environment where teamwork, continuous improvement, and attention to detail matter every day? If so, this Machine Operator role is ideal for a detail driven, mechanically inclined individual who enjoys blending technical skill with problem-solving, ownership of their work, and contributing to a high performing manufacturing team where precision and pride go hand in hand.

Which tasks will you perform?

You will:

  • Operate CNC multispindle lathes with live milling, loading programs, making minor offsets, and changing cutting tools to keep production running smoothly and accurately.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and routings to produce high quality parts in a fast paced production cell.
  • Measure and inspect parts using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, and surface finish gauges to ensure every piece meets specifications.
  • Monitor machine operation to identify tool wear, part defects, or equipment issues, taking action to maintain quality and uptime.
  • Perform routine TPM and basic preventative maintenance activities to keep equipment reliable and minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from finished workpieces to deliver clean, customer ready parts.
  • Crosstrain and assist with assembly operations and other production tasks, staying versatile and ready to support the team where needed.
  • Participate in Kaizen activities, 5S efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives that make the shop safer, cleaner, and more efficient.

What do we expect from you?

  • Strong basic math skills to support measurements, offsets, and quality checks during production.
  • Handson experience or training in basic machine trades, typically gained through 1-3 years of related manufacturing or machining work.
  • Comfort using computers and basic software tools, including Microsoft Word and Excel, for documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Ability to accurately measure parts and verify quality using precision measuring tools and instruments.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift, move, and handle parts and materials in a production environment.

What can you expect from us?

  • Lifelong learning encouraged by versatile training, tuition reimbursement, success coaching, and further education opportunities.
  • Family-owned, highly committed global company with a sustainable vision of the future.
  • Comprehensive benefit package (to include medical, dental, vision) and 401(k) savings with company match.
  • Compensation is competitive and includes bonus opportunities.
  • Work-life balance encouraged through our 10 company-paid holidays, paid time off, paid parental leave, employee assistance programs (financial, mental, and physical health and wellbeing).
  • Employees work in a safety-first, climate controlled, clean manufacturing facility with utilization of Lean practices and ergonomic workstations to enhance productivity and comfort.
  • On-site amenities such as cafeteria, gym, health clinic, and ergonomic support, to foster a convenient and health-conscious workplace environment.
