Job description

Maintenance Technician PLC
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Romeoville, IL. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated equipment and systems to ensure maximum production efficiency and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical, mechanical, and automation systems with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Romeoville, IL
Schedule: 2nd or 3rd Shift
Pay Rate: $35-$40.00 per hour
Duties:
  • Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on automated production equipment and machinery
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues
  • Install, test, and calibrate new equipment and automation systems
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company procedures
  • Document all maintenance activities and update maintenance logs accurately
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability
  • Provide support during equipment upgrades and system installations
Requirements:
