Job description

MACHINE OPERATOR EXTRUSION DEPARTMENT
Automation Personnel Services is seeking several Machine Operators in the Extrusion Department for a manufacturing company in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for the production, manufacturing, and quality of machinery. Positions are full-time temporary to hire.
Pay Rate
Day shift: $17.00
Night shift: $17.50
Shifts and Schedules
Day shift: 8:00am-8:00pm
Night Shift 8:00pm-8:00am
2 days on-3 days off rotation (must be willing to work weekend rotation)
Machine Operator Extrusion Department Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with Extrusion machines
• Run assembly station with push buttons or guiding handles.
• Prepare material for removal by warehouse person.
• Parts are packed into large cardboard boxes, plastic bags or places in large wire buggies, which are removed by a warehouse employee.
• Pack products according to specifications while inspecting for quality
• Accurately complete all required paperwork.
• Notify supervisor of any production or quality problems immediately.
Machine Operator Extrusion Department Requirement and Qualifications
• 2 years of verifiable machine operator experience
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds (In-office lifting assessment required)
• Work in a high moisture situation
• Background Check and drug screen required
