Edelman is seeking a Temporary Presentation Designer to support our New Business and Growth teams in developing visually compelling, strategically driven presentations that help win new business and showcase the full breadth of Edelman's capabilities.

This role is ideal for a designer who thrives under deadline, excels at visual storytelling, and understands how to transform complex ideas into clear, persuasive narratives. You'll partner closely with strategists, creative leaders, account teams, and business development professionals to create presentations that are polished, impactful, and tailored to each opportunity.

The Role

As a Temporary Presentation Designer, you will lead the design and production of pitch decks, credentials presentations, workshop materials, and other business development communications. You will bring a strong editorial sensibility and modern design aesthetic to every project, ensuring presentations are visually engaging, strategically sound, and reflective of Edelman's creative standards.

The ideal candidate can quickly absorb information, identify the most compelling narrative, and translate it into presentations that are both beautiful and effective.

What You'll Do
  • Design and develop high-impact presentations for new business pitches, credentials meetings, client workshops, and strategic engagements
  • Create visually compelling storytelling frameworks that bring ideas, insights, and recommendations to life
  • Establish and maintain presentation design systems that ensure consistency while allowing for customization based on audience and opportunity
  • Translate complex information, research, and strategic concepts into clear and engaging visuals
  • Partner closely with business development, strategy, creative, and account teams throughout the pitch process
  • Elevate existing content through thoughtful design, information hierarchy, and visual storytelling
  • Create charts, infographics, diagrams, and other visual assets that simplify and strengthen key messages
  • Ensure presentations are polished, accurate, and client-ready under tight deadlines
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in presentation design, visual communications, graphic design, or a related discipline
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional presentation design and visual storytelling capabilities
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, information design, and visual hierarchy
  • Experience supporting business development, pitch teams, executive communications, or client-facing presentations
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling visual narratives
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight timelines
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Agency experience supporting new business, marketing, or growth teams
  • Experience designing presentations for integrated marketing, communications, advertising, or consulting organizations
  • Strong editorial design sensibility and experience creating long-form narrative presentations
  • Experience developing infographics, data visualizations, and conceptual frameworks
  • Familiarity with motion, animation, or presentation transitions that enhance storytelling
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple stakeholders and teams

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
