Job description

Glendora Employment Agency, Inc. is a boutique agency located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley. We specialize in connecting local employers with local talent. We are currently seeking a Cleanroom Technician for a precision cleaning company in Irwindale.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Work in a class 10,000 cleanroom inspecting and packaging parts according to customer specifications.
  • Identify and report any defects or non-conforming issues (scratches, dents, etc.).
  • Precision clean parts per spec and traveler instructions.
  • Collaborate with the team to address any quality assurance issues.
  • Inspect finished and packaged products for foreign object debris (FOD).
  • Package product and review labels for accuracy.
  • Wear personal protective equipment required to perform job duties.
  • Keep workstation and equipment/tools clean.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Prior experience working in a cleanroom environment highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.

DRESS CODE:

**No outside debris is allowed in the cleanroom**

  • Jeans (no ripped or distressed jeans allowed), slip resistant shoes, and an appropriate shirt/top.
  • No sandals or open-toed shoes allowed.
  • No makeup, perfumes/colognes, hair products, scented lotions, etc. allowed.
  • Nails must be short enough to not puncture gloves.
  • Hair must be in a ponytail or bun.
  • Leggings are allowed on Friday’s if they are not see-through.

Position: Temp-to-Hire

Shift: Monday – Friday from 7:00am – 3:30pm
