Pegasus Laboratories, Inc., an innovative veterinary pharmaceutical and medical product company, is hiring an Event Marketing Specialist to join the team in Pensacola, FL. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across Marketing, Medical Affairs, and it's designed with growth in mind, providing a pathway toward future advancement into Product Management or Program Management!
As an Event Marketing Specialist, you'll play a key role in planning and executing conferences and tradeshows, managing marketing collateral, tracking budgets, and supporting cross-functional marketing programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing projects, building relationships, and contributing to the success of a growing organization!
Position Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning and execution of marketing-sponsored conferences and tradeshows, including budgeting, logistics, vendor management, booth coordination, promotional materials, and on-site support
• Research event opportunities and collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Sales teams to develop annual tradeshow strategies and maximize marketing impact
• Manage the annual marketing events calendar, coordinating conferences, customer meetings, product promotions, and sponsored events across multiple business channels
• Track and manage marketing budgets, process vendor invoices, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support quarterly budget reconciliation efforts
• Oversee marketing literature and collateral platforms, ensuring materials remain accurate, compliant, accessible, and up to date for Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Sales teams
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
• 3+ years of project management experience, with tradeshow or event management experience preferred
• Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships, with basic accounting knowledge preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); B2B and B2C marketing experience preferred, with emerging media experience a plus
• Ability to travel up to 35% annually, including attendance at industry conferences and tradeshows
