Highway Inn in Waipahu is in its 80th year. 
We require Drivers to drive from Waipahu daily from 7:30 am to approximately 11:00 am-1:00 pm. The vehicle is a small NV200 Nissan Van, so a regular driver's license will suffice. We also have a daily delivery leaving at 4:15 to the Ko'olina area.  Responsibilities will also include loading and unloading the van, with staff assistance at every load and unload point. Total hours would be 20-30 hours a week which may be split between two drivers.
We also have many ad-hoc driving opportunities during the week for on-call work. You can be a 1099 or W2 employee. 
The successful applicants will also have the opportunity to work in traditional restaurant jobs and have the opportunity to go full-time.

Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of employment history
  • Clean Driver's license for past 5 years, and pass a standard blood test.
  • Mature, responsible, punctual, and responsive
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Team player who is able to multitask efficiently
  • Proactive in identifying delivery problems and loading mistakes
  • Able to stand and/or walk continuously for long periods of time, often in non-temperature-controlled environments.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds with or without assistance
  • Required to follow both oral and written instructions
  • Expected to communicate clearly and efficiently with co-workers and managers
