Locums Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery Physician in Minnesota - Trauma Blocks, 10 Days Monthly

Dedicated trauma call blocks and strong APP support create a predictable orthopedic trauma assignment with ongoing monthly coverage. This role focuses on inpatient trauma care within a busy regional referral center.


Practice & Cases


  • Inpatient orthopaedic trauma service at a Level II Trauma Center
  • Long-bone fractures, open fractures, geriatric fracture care, and trauma stabilization
  • Emergency department consults, inpatient rounding, and operative trauma cases
  • Dedicated trauma APP support, including weekend coverage


Schedule


  • Approximately 10 days of coverage per month
  • Morning trauma operating room blocks
  • Tuesday and Thursday afternoon clinic coverage
  • Acute care surgicalist or dedicated trauma call block structure


Requirements


  • Must be an MD or DO
  • Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Active Minnesota license or IMLC LOQ required
  • ACLS, ATLS, and DEA required

  • Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
  • Expedited credentialing available for qualified candidates
