What You'll Do

We are seeking a skilled and motivated 3D Digital Laboratory Technician / Designer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our orthodontic lab, you will play a crucial role in utilizing CAD / CAM software and digital sculpting applications to contribute to the fabrication of appliances that impact patients' dentition.


Utilize CAD / CAM Software:

  • Employ advanced CAD / CAM software to contribute to the design / fabrication of orthodontic appliances with precision and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in CAD / CAM technology and implement best practices to optimize the digital design and manufacturing processes.

Digital Sculpting Applications:

  • Leverage expertise in digital sculpting applications, including Blender, MeshMixer, Maya, Cinema4D, Solidworks, ZBrush, or equivalent, to create intricate and functional digital models for orthodontic appliances.

Workflow Development and Improvement:

  • Prepare and manage digitized models for advanced 3D printing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Requirements

What We'll Love About You:

  • Proven track record of at least 1 year in a similar role preferably within the orthodontic or dental industry.
  • In-depth experience and proficiency in utilizing CAD/CAM software for the fabrication of orthodontic appliances.
  • Demonstrated expertise with digital sculpting applications such as Blender, MeshMixer, Maya, Cinema4D, Solidworks, ZBrush, or equivalent.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset, with a history of successfully meeting and exceeding goals.
  • Comprehensive understanding of dental anatomy, specifically pertaining to orthodontics preferred
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, contributing to the improvement of technology and processes within ODL.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, consistently demonstrating a high level of initiative in professional and personal development.

Work Schedule: 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm

  • Once trained and meeting productivity requirements in all designs, there is flexibility to work remotely.
