Job Summary:
Veterans Sourcing Group, LLC is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator IV to design, operate, and secure Azure Oracle database services. The role involves implementing identity and access practices, managing database backups and restores, and ensuring operational readiness through monitoring and auditing.
Responsibilities:
• Design, operate, and secure Azure Oracle database services.
• Implement strong identity and access practices, provide expert leadership with Oracle database backup, restore and resiliency management, perform database maintenance tasks including patching and upgrade, and monitoring / audit of database performance and capacity in Azure.
• Role emphasizes practical, scalable solutions that ensure secure, auditable operations, clear documentation, and effective collaboration with security, engineering, and operations teams.
• Provisioning, Configuration, maintenance of Oracle database servers for database version 19c or 23ai
• Provision appropriate administrative roles and enforce least privilege access via role assignments and security groups
• Experience with Oracle database vault in managing privileges for system database administrators and application support resources
• Experience with Guardium database monitoring would be additional advantage
• Develop and maintain baseline configurations for Oracle database servers, including encryption at rest, auditing, threat detection, backup/restore, retention, and access parameters.
