Job description
Description
Thermal Care, part of the Piovan Group, is a leading manufacturer of process cooling equipment and systems for applications worldwide. As an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer, Thermal Care provides heat transfer equipment for over 50 industries and specializes in meeting the specific needs of our customers by offering both standard and custom designed industrial process cooling solutions. Some of the industries served include plastics, laser, heat treating, food processing, machine tool, plating, anodizing, chemical, die casting, optical coating, and printing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Test portable and central chillers
- Test refrigeration circuits
- Test electrical systems
- Test pump and water systems
- Accurately record test data
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
- Communicate technical issues to engineering and other appropriate groups
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems on return chillers
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Position typically expects five (5)+ years of experience in building, testing, or repairing refrigeration equipment
- Refrigeration certificate highly desired
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Effective communication skills
- Mission focused with a sense of urgency when required
- Must have a positive attitude and foster a continuous improvement environment
