The Role
Places blower in position, runs tubing over the ship, and connects blower for proper ventilation. Adjusts blower for proper draft, inspects tubing for holes and makes necessary repairs.
Must Have
Must be able to lift and carry objects (ventilation tubing ) and material weighting up 30 lbs, climb stairs, ladders and be able to work off scaffolds. Will be required to work in various climatic conditions and confined spaces common in shipbuilding.
Nice to Have
High school diploma or equivalent with shipyard or heavy construction experience.
