. We are hiring an General Labourer-Paintto join our Team!

Key Responsibilities:

Clean up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material.
Assist Blasters, Painters or other tradespeople on-site.
Handle and transport materials and equipment (e.g. spray guns & hoses).
Use power tools and machinery (e.g. forklifts) when needed.
Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labour tasks (e.g. stacking up goods).
Put up warning signs (e.g. signposts, cones) for vehicles and passersby.
Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures (e.g. scaffolding).
Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions.
Ensures housekeeping is completed daily in assigned area.
Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor or shop foreman.
Complies with standards and procedures of PTW's health and safety manual and Occupational Healthand Safety regulations.

EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIESREQUIRED:

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up
    to 40 pounds etc.).
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus.
  • Communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be approachable and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset, but not necessary
  • Possesses solid understanding of welding equipment and welding accessories.
  • Commitment to safety rule

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

  • Must have own transportation as facility is not accessible by public transportation.
  • Must have CSA approved safety boots
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
