Field Sales & Business Development Specialist

Valdosta or Waycross, GA | Field-Based | Base Pay + Uncapped Commission

About the Role

Join an exciting new delivery partner program and help expand a growing network of local business partners throughout South Georgia. As a Field Sales & Business Development Specialist, you'll combine face-to-face sales, community engagement, and relationship-building to recruit and support local businesses joining a hub-based delivery network.

What You'll Do
  • Prospect and engage local businesses through in-person outreach within your assigned territory.
  • Present partnership opportunities and help businesses understand the value of joining the network.
  • Qualify prospective partners and guide them through the application and onboarding process.
  • Build referral relationships with chambers of commerce, community organizations, and local business leaders.
  • Attend networking events, informational sessions, and community outreach activities.
  • Manage leads, follow-ups, and pipeline activity using Salesforce.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and support throughout the partner journey.
  • Drive territory growth through proactive relationship-building and business development efforts.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, account management, recruiting, or business development.
  • Outside sales or field sales experience preferred.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned region.

Work Environment

This hybrid field and remote role supports the Valdosta, Waycross, and surrounding Georgia communities. You'll spend the majority of your week meeting with business owners, conducting in-person outreach, and attending community events, with dedicated time for remote follow-up, Salesforce management, and territory planning. This position offers autonomy, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to play a key role in launching and growing a new business partnership program.

This is a Contract position based out of Valdosta, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
