Job description

USU Facilities seeks applications for a Surplus Data Entry Worker to facilitate inventorying, pricing and logging of resale campus items through Surplus Sales.

This is an on-campus ACA Variable hourly position, providing a minimum of 20 hours per week. There is potential for increased hours during holiday periods.


  • Logging items into the Surplus System accurately, including inventory and serial numbers
  • Pricing items according to current market values

  • Familiarity with Computers and basic Computer Software – Word -Excel etc.
  • Detail Oriented
  • Ability to stay motivated and on task

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes.  The employee is regularly required to sit, use computers, and use repetitive hand motions (such as typing). The employee may be required to reach with hands and arms and may lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
