These editors typically work on projects such as commercials, TV shows, films, or social media content, and their contracts usually last for the duration of a specific project or a set timeframe. They are skilled in using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer. Temporary roles may be offered by production companies, broadcasting studios, or freelance opportunities.

Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to collaborate under tight deadlines are crucial soft skills for success. These abilities ensure the delivery of high-quality, engaging content that meets client specifications and project timelines.

Temporary non linear video editors often encounter challenges such as adapting quickly to different workflows, software versions, and project organization styles set by various teams. • Assist with content publishing and additional Social & Digital Content team responsibilities, as needed.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Advanced proficiency with professional non-linear editing systems, preferably Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Strong proficiency in compositing, audio mixing and sweetening, color correction, media management, quality control, and final content delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce highly polished video content involving narrative structure, character development, and a defined storyline.
  • Strong understanding of creating content for vertical platforms
  • Experience creating basketball or sports-related content.
  • Strong knowledge of the NBA and passion for the storylines surrounding its players, coaches, teams, statistics, standings, and league history.
  • Excellent understanding of basketball rules, terminology, statistics, analytics, and the history of the game.
