 The Salesforce Developer will work closely with stakeholders, administrators, and other team members to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient Salesforce applications. The developer will design, develop, and implement customized solutions on the Salesforce platform. This could involve coding, configuration, integration, and continuous improvement of Salesforce systems to optimize business processes and user experience. 

In this role, you will:

• nCino and Salesforce Development

  • Design, develop, and enhance nCino and Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Visualforce, JavaScript, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Configure and customize nCino managed package functionality to support banking and lending business processes.
  • Develop custom applications, components, integrations, and extensions within the Salesforce and nCino ecosystem.
  • Create and configure custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, and business process automation.
  • Build and maintain Lightning Experience user interfaces and customer-facing solutions.
  • Configure connected applications and external client applications to support integration and authentication requirements.

  nCino Configuration and Lending Solutions

  • Configure nCino features including Commercial Lending, Portfolio Analytics, Customer Engagement, Loan Origination, and Deposit Account Opening solutions.
  • Translate banking and lending business requirements into scalable nCino platform solutions.
  • Support implementation of credit workflows, collateral management, covenant tracking, and customer onboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with business teams to optimize lending and financial services operations through nCino best practices.

  Integration and Data Management

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce, nCino, core banking platforms, and third-party systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Partner with enterprise integration teams to establish secure and scalable integration patterns.
  • Manage data migrations, imports, exports, and data quality initiatives across Salesforce and nCino environments.
  • Write and optimize SOQL and SOSL queries for data access, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Work with development and external partner teams to provide integration access points including connected apps and APIs.

  Troubleshooting and Support

  • Analyze, debug, and resolve issues related to Salesforce, nCino, and integrated applications.
  • Collaborate with administrators, support teams, and business stakeholders to address production issues and enhancement requests.
  • Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities to improve scalability, usability, and efficiency.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to recurring technical challenges.

  Collaboration and Requirements Gathering

  • Partner with business analysts, product owners, banking stakeholders, and project managers to understand business objectives and requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs aligned with Salesforce and nCino best practices.
  • Facilitate design sessions and provide recommendations on platform capabilities and solution architecture.
  • Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews to ensure high-quality delivery standards.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership across project teams.

  Testing and Deployment

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive unit tests and integration tests to ensure solution quality and platform stability.
  • Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production validation activities.
  • Implement and manage deployments using Change Sets, Salesforce DX (SFDX), Git-based version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure compliance with development standards, deployment governance, and release management processes.

  Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with Salesforce, nCino, and Financial Services Cloud releases, emerging capabilities, and industry best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage platform enhancements to improve banking and lending operations.
  • Contribute to technical standards, reusable frameworks, and development best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and system configuration artifacts.
