Job description

MUSEUM CURATOR II - CAPITAL DISTRICT / MUSEUMS / OLD SACRAMENTO STATE HISTORIC PARK
The reporting location for this position is Old Sacramento State Historic Park in Sacramento California. This position will work under the general direction of the Museum Curator III.
The Museum Curator II manages the Museum's preventative conservation program focusing on the California State Railroad Museum (CSRM) artifact collections.
The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.
Occasional travel may be required. Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.
MUSEUM CURATOR I will also be considered for recruitment purposes.
This position is designated as not telework eligible.
