Mariners is listed as one of the top 20 largest churches in America by Outreach Magazine. We are a community of ordinary people from all walks of life courageously trusting God to do the extraordinary. Through the redemption story of each believer, God is glorified, lives are changed and communities are impacted in a significant way. Come and be part of a new season of growth as Mariners Church responds to God's call in launching new congregations.
Job Description
The Editor / Motion Graphics Artist is responsible for bringing stories and messages to life across digital ministry content, reporting to the Executive Producer. This role primarily focuses on post-production, creating engaging edits and motion graphics across ministry stories, online teaching, worship sets, podcasts, social media, and other digital platforms. All Mariners staff are expected to work during Christmas Eve and Easter services, as well as participate in Rooted once/year. This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards act.
Responsibilities

Media and Equipment Management
  • Manage project files, media organization, and proper archiving of video projects.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized media library.
  • Support post production workflow, including ingesting footage and organizing assets.
  • Work closely with the Media Assets Coordinator on organizing footage, photos, and edits.

Additional Production Support
  • Assist with animation or motion graphics for sermon slides and bespoke visual elements.
  • Support occasional weekend filming needs across Mariners campuses.
  • Contribute creative solutions that improve workflow, storytelling, and production quality.

Qualifications
