Registered Nurse - Home Health | San Ramon, CA

Full-time

Job description

$103,000–$128,000 Annual Salary | $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

San Ramon, California

The Opportunity

A Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm schedule is rare in home health nursing — most RNs in this specialty are used to rotating call and unpredictable hours. This role offers that stability, along with the chance to provide skilled, one-on-one nursing care in patients' homes rather than the constant churn of a hospital floor.

Why You'll Love This Role

You'll earn $103,000 to $128,000 annually, backed by a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Relocation assistance is available if you're considering a move to the San Ramon area. Your schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm — a structure that supports real work-life balance in a field where that's often hard to find.

Clinically, you'll manage a full scope of skilled nursing work: wound care, medication management, IV therapy, and symptom management, paired with hands-on patient and caregiver education. You'll also lead care coordination, supervising LPNs/LVNs, home health aides, and other support staff as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, therapists, and social workers.

What Your Week Looks Like
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments covering physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs
  • Build and adjust individualized care plans alongside your interdisciplinary team
  • Deliver direct skilled care, including wound care, IV therapy, and pain/symptom management
  • Educate and support patients and families through each stage of care
  • Supervise LPNs/LVNs and home health aides
  • Participate in on-call rotations, admissions, or urgent response as needed
  • Manage visit scheduling and documentation to stay compliant with regulations
  • Monitor patient progress and adapt care plans as conditions change
What We're Looking For
  • Graduate of an approved nursing program with current RN licensure in the state
  • At least 1 year of experience as an RN
  • Current CPR certification, maintained throughout employment
  • Valid driver's license with a properly insured, reliable vehicle for travel between patient locations
Why Candidates Say Yes

A predictable Monday–Friday schedule, strong compensation with a sizable sign-on bonus, and the opportunity to build real relationships with patients through direct, meaningful home health care make this a role worth a serious look — especially for RNs ready to trade unpredictability for stability without giving up clinical variety.
