Job Description
We are seeking a dependable Mixing Technician to join a leading food manufacturing team in Newton, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and blending ingredients, supporting production operations, and ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards. The Mixing Technician plays a key role in maintaining efficient production flow from processing through packaging while following GMP, OSHA, HACCP, and company guidelines. Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and supply premix ingredients or accurately weigh materials according to production specifications
  • Follow all food safety, GMP, OSHA, HACCP, sanitation, and quality requirements while maintaining an audit-ready work environment
  • Meet established production standards and assist with processing operations throughout the facility
  • Maintain accurate food safety, quality, and production documentation
  • Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or production deviations immediately and participate in required training programs
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, team leads, and production personnel
  • Must have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals
  • Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and adapt to changing work priorities
  • Must have the ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, climb, and perform physical labor throughout a 12-hour shift
  • Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Must have the ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required

The base pay range for this position is $17.50 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation.
