Job description

Locums Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician in Dillon, South Carolina - Light Daily Rounding, 24 Hour Coverage

Take multi-day OB GYN coverage blocks with a small inpatient census, limited daily onsite workload, and pager-based call.


Highlights


  • Average inpatient census of 1 to 3 patients
  • Typically 2 to 4 hours of patient care per day
  • Circumcisions are not required
  • Office coverage handled primarily by an FNP

Practice & Cases


  • Inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care for patients ages 15 to 70
  • Approximately 1 to 3 deliveries and 2 to 4 NST or observation patients daily
  • Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
  • Emergency department OB GYN consultations as needed

Schedule


  • Multi-day coverage blocks
  • 24 hour pager call
  • Daily inpatient rounding including weekends
  • 30 minute call response requirement

Requirements


  • Must be an MD or DO
  • Must be Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Active South Carolina medical license required
  • DEA required
