Job Responsibilities
  • Program CNC machines for new parts and optimize existing programs.
  • Ability to write programs for proto-type, complex, and tight tolerance parts.
  • Read work order, flow sheets and part drawing to determine all aspects of the job to be manufactured.
  • Develop machining processes with a focus on automation and high-speed manufacturing.
  • Design, create, and manufacture advanced fixtures with ability to use with or without automation.
  • Design and create custom tool holders, custom cutters, custom work-holding
  • Oversee projects from start to finish including, programming, set-up, troubleshooting, and production.
  • Proficient with SolidWorks and Mastercam.
  • Proficient with 5-axis programming and operation.
  • Measure parts using manual inspection tools and equipment for first article parts and in process inspections during the production run.
  • Diagnose production issues and make edits to program at machine when required.
  • Use data collection in ERP software to log time and job details.
  • Load and verify tools, fixtures, and programs.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in:
  • CNC Machining
  • Blueprint reading
  • Using manual inspection gauges
  • Writing and revisioning programs
  • May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • May be required to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience as machining lead

Associate Requirements
  • HS Diploma or GED
