MALE UROGENITAL TEACHING ASSOCIATE (MUTA) TEMPORARY (PART-TIME)
Position Summary
In-house training for males to teach, assess, and provide feedback to learners about accurate urogenital and rectal examination techniques. The MUTA addresses the communication skills needed to provide a comfortable exam in a standardized manner, while using their body as a teaching tool in a supportive, non-threatening environment. The MUTA teaches the proper technique for performing the urogenital exam, including external and internal inspection and palpation. Urological exam procedures to include palpation for lymph nodes, hernias, and examination of the scrotum, testicles, penis, and rectum (Prostate). The MUTA guides the student through the learning process while each learner performs the urologic exam on the MUTA's body.
Required Qualifications
Must be healthy, both mentally and physically, to handle this work.
Must be professional and dependable.
