Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) 


Position: Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) – Generalist
Shift: Nights | 7 Nights On / 7 Nights Off
Pay Rate: $85/hour
Hours: 80 hours every 2 weeks
Contract Duration: 91 weeks

Job Description:
We are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Generalist for a night-shift position. The ideal candidate must have blood bank experience and be able to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Schedule:

  • 7 nights on / 7 nights off
  • Wednesday: 8-hour shift
  • Thursday–Tuesday: 12-hour night shifts
  • Then 7 consecutive days off
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
  • Quick Start position

Required Qualifications:

  • Current California CLS or MLS license
  • Blood Bank experience required
  • TB clearance completed within the past 12 months

Housing Recommendations:
Housing may be available through Furnished Finder, Travel Nurse Housing, and Humboldt Craigslist/Housing/Temporary Sublet listings. Recommended areas include Arcata, Eureka, McKinleyville, Blue Lake, Samoa, and Fortuna, within approximately 25–30 miles of the hospital.
