AI Machine Learning Scientist Associate
Job Description:

The AI Machine Learning Scientist Associate is responsible for junior level Artificial Intelligence (AI) scientific and statistical methods to assist with product creation, development and improvement.
How you will make an impact:

• Assists other Machine Learning Scientists with development and implementation of machine learning algorithms and data modeling.
• Assists in determining cause and effect relations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) or equivalent degree and 1 or more years of experience; or any combination of education and experience in configuration management, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• Previous Elevance Health Internship Experience is preferred
• Exposure to designing and implementing GenAI evaluation frameworks, synthetic data generation pipelines, and dataset augmentation workflows for enterprise AI applications.
• Knowledge of NLP and data engineering, including topic extraction, text normalization, feature engineering, and evaluation of clustering or classification techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex AI solutions to technical and executive audiences, including participating in technical or architecture reviews, demonstrations, and stakeholder presentations.
• Experience applying Generative AI and machine learning solutions within healthcare or other regulated industries, with knowledge of data quality, governance, and compliance considerations.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $113,168.00 to $141,460.00
