Job description

Schedule:

  • Monday Friday
  • Full-time coverage
  • Call Ratio: 1:6
  • Rotating night and weekend call

Practice Details:

  • Inpatient & Outpatient
  • Adult/Geriatric patients
  • Average clinic volume: 10 patients/day
  • Average inpatient census: patients/day
  • Work alongside another cardiologist and 4 APPs
  • APP supervision required
  • EMR: Epic

Required Procedures:

  • Electrocardiograms (EKGs)

Requirements:

  • Board Certified Cardiologist
  • Advanced Heart Failure (AHF) Fellowship
  • VAD/LVAD Certification & Experience (Required)
  • Active Virginia medical license
  • DEA
  • ACLS
  • Local provider preferred (mileage reimbursement only)
  • Current NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days)
