Job description

If you have previous packaging experience and are interested in learning about cannabis-infused food products, this could be a great opportunity.
 A food production company that makes cannabis-infused candies, syrups and even potato chips has a temporary Packaging Assistant on their team.
 If you officially become a permanent part of the team, they offer benefits upon permanent hire and there are opportunities for career growth.

Packaging Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Package candy and other food products.
  • Palletize packaged goods.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
  • Work with warehouse and kitchen team to meet company standards, food safety and Liquor & Cannabis Board compliance.

Packaging Assistant Qualifications:
  • Experience in packaging or food production. (Confectionary production is a huge plus)
  • Able to keep up with fast & repetitive tasks.
  • Comfortable lifting 50 lbs regularly.

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm (36 hrs/week)

Pay: $22.00 per hour
